Despite being a Barclays Bank customer for MANY years, Barclaycard treated me like a new customer, with a derisory credit limit. Their non-native English speaking hotline agent called (from a witheld number, probably in Asia) and tried to explain that I need to build up a "credit history" which is unlikely, since I have never needed to borrow money!
Not worth the space in my wallet - account closed, card destroyed.
