I use my credit card for my usual monthly spend - groceries, petrol and intermittent clothes shopping. It had been my son's birthday and he received some cash but wanted to buy online games. Using my credit card we made purchases on a site we have used before but not to such a large amount. I received a phone call within minutes from Tesco checking the purchase was made by us as it wasn't my usual spend. I thanked them for keeping an eye on my account. Sometimes it's good that big brother is watching you!
