faulty card and poor customer service.

I tried to use my card last week in Sicily several times without success. On my return I rang the call centre to be told that mine was issued on 4th July and was part of a faulty batch surely they should have replaced these cards as soon as they knew there was a problem not wait until after the customer has tried to use it! The girl in the call centre seemed to find it amusing as well. I'm now waiting for a new on to arrive and have been told by travelex to try booking a hotel room and paying in Euro to see if it works can't believe how they treat the customer. It does put you off using the card ever again. Good idea if it works Reviewed on: 23rd September 2016
