Being retired I have wondered about the worth of a Petplan insurance for life (more expensive). However after our 6 year old dog dislocated his hip then getting back costs (minus excess) was very welcome. Also as we now know our dog has arthritic hips then knowing he has cover for life is very reassuring in case of on-going problems.
