The NEED to be a Member of Golf Care

5
I would, certainly, recommend that anyone who plays Golf becomes a member of Golf care. The risks, on a Golf Course, of hitting another Player or, indeed, being hit yourself are a playing hazard that we all know about. And I have, in particular, witnessed someone being hit by a Golf ball on two occasions. Once I hit another person, on a Golf Course in Coventry, on the head when the Lady, in question was walking across the Course (She was actually trespassing) when we waved her to stop whoich her, and the Bloke She was with did, but as soon as I hit my ball they started walking again and crossed right in front of the Green, where I had hit my ball to. Of course, by that time, it was too late to avoid hitting her. we rushed down, from the Plateau Tee that we were on (It was a Par 3) to see how she was. She had a very nasty lump on her head and I told the man, whom she was with, to get her straight to Hospital. She got up and appeared to be alright but I still insisted that she was taken to The Hospital to be checked out. It put me off my game because, of course, I was shook up myself over it.I heard nothing else about it so, I assumed, She was alright I hope so. Another occasion was when here, at Weymouth Golf Club, my Playing Partner,( whom was also a work colleague) and i ,had teed off and were starting to walk down the Fairway talking as you do before we seperated to go in the directions that our respective balls had flown to. when, all of a sudden, someone shouted FOUR I ducked and saw that a ball had landed by my Feet.i looked up to see my Playing mate, to state that that FOUR Call was a bit late to see Him holding His Mouth. The Ball, that had landed at my feet, had hit him in the mouth, knocking out several of His teeth BEFORE it got to me! the Played who had hit the Ball came running up to apologise for shouting FOUR rather later than he had intended and, especially, hitting my Playing mate. I took him to Hospital and He had to undergo surgery to repair his teeth and have other ones installed. Now, this Ball COULD have killed Him if it been HALF AN INCH HIGHER IT WOULD HAVE. Neither my playing partner, I or, indeed the Man who had hit the ball had NO Golf insurance at all! It was after this second occurrence that i realised the IMPORTANCE of Golf Insurance not only for oneself but for OTHER Golfers that are on the same course as you are. That is WHY I joined Golf Care and have talked other fellow Golfers to join. Imparting on them the IMPORTANCE of being a member. And, relating what i have told you, as an incentive. I believe that EVERYONE who Plays Golf SHOULD have a Golf insurance in fact i STRONGLY BELIEVE that it SHOULD be a stipulation by the Golf Clubs, to its members, that they HAVE to take out an Insurance as part of the terms of their golf membership. The importance and, indeed, piece of mind, having Golf Care Insurance.

I have played Golf for years since, in fact, the 1970's. I have witnessed, during this time, a playing partner hit in the face by a wayward shot causing Him to lose all of His front teeth. He could have actually been killed. I, myself, hit a Woman on Her Head whilst She was crossing in front of my teeing Off during a Competition. She was with a man who, incidentally, were trespassing by them taking a short cut across the Golf Course. My Playing Partners stopped me teeing off, initially, because they saw them coming out from behind some Trees. We waved to them to stop they acknowledged us and went back into the Trees. I then teed off but, as I hit the ball they reappeared and walked in the path of my ball. She went down and we all ran to Her to see how She was and to see if we could help if She wasn't alright. She got up and said that She was ok but there was a lump on her Head that I thought, at first, was my ball! I explained that both of them shouldn't have been crossing the Golf Course because it could be and, indeed, in her case was dangerous. We advised the man to take Her to Hospital to have Her head checked. Whether he took her to Hospital, or not, I still do not know to this day. my point is that I wish that I had had Golf Insurance then not only to protect other People/Property but myself from suffering by being hit by a ball or the potential consequences if I hit someone or property. Having Golf Care Insurance, these last few years, HAS given me the piece of mind that should there be ANY accident either to me or someone else, caused by me, then by having Golf insurance, it would ease the outcome. Golf Care insurance also covers Golf Equipment either losing it or being stolen. Which also gives one piece of mind. I STRONGLY recommend that ANY Golfer, whether you are just starting or have played Golf for years, to get this insurance. you DON'T know how much you need it UNTIL you need it and, by then it could, WOULD, be too late. EVERY GOLFER SHOULD HAVE GOLF INSURANCE

I wish that i had Golf insurance when i first started playing Golf, in the 1970's. I have it now, Golf care, and the peace of mind that it gives you is very reassuring. It cover's you for, mainly, the unfortunate occasion when you could hit someone with a golf ball, be hit yourself, damage property and Golf Equipment loss. i really recommend that, whoever is reading this, purchases Golf Care Insurance because it DOES give you the piece of mind that, I believe, is a contributory factor in your Round of Golf. in fact it should be law, like car Insurance etc to protect you and other people.
