I had my personal bank account with Halifax for over six years. Decided to apply for a personal loan with my outstanding credit rating and the bank declined. When questioned the reason why, they claimed that I have not been with them for long enough.
M&S bank, the one I have been using to pay my bills for the past year, provided me with the money. They also provided brilliant customer service.
I will stick with them and close my account with Halifax - they do not deserve my custom! I prefer professionalism.
