Tried to make a claim on home contents insurance did not pay out suggested I was not telling truth and even though they could not prove anything they cancelled my insurance and thus making it more expensive for me to take out any type of insurance for at least 5 years.
Reported to financial ombudsman but they said " according to there terms and conditions they only have to think you are not telling the truth and they can terminate your policy and there is nothing you can do about it, they do not have to prove anything."
And this applies to most insurance company's.
