Society procedures neec to be improved.

I was unable to transfer money from one of my accounts online despite the fact that I operate all my Saffron accounts online. On the telephone, a very helpful member of staff was able to transfer the money to my nominated account but I couldn't. “Clunky” procedures like that certainly detract for the Society’s appeal to me. Trainees

We have been with Saffron for very many years (when it was Herts &Essex) and have always been pleased with the personal service we receive (sadly lacking in other establishments) The only point we would make on our last visit is that both cashiers (although extremely polite, helpful, etc) were both under training with no one else at the desk with them. If they required assistance they had to leave their posts and go into the back offices. We realise everyone has to start and be trained in a job but it would be better to have at least one qualified assistant at the front at all times Reviewed on: 21st October 2024

Products reaching maturity

Staff in branch are l always very helpful. I am however disappointed that it seems you no longer send out information and forms for products that are reaching maturity, instead just send an email. I would prefer to still receive forms by post please. Reviewed on: 21st October 2024

Took just over 2 months to set up a bank account, little communication and would have to chase up every week as each call I was on for a problem or seeing what stage they are at they said it will be solved within the week which it was not.
