Sheilas wheels were one of the cheapest car insurance companies for my SLK. Buying insurance was easy and hassle free and their customer services have always been really helpful and easy to get hold of! Reviewed on: 15th June 2023

Useless

Do not use! They never contact you about anything you have to call them and go through press 1 etc and then lucky if your not cut off. They put my insurance up by £150 for a claim I never had then when I sorted out the claim I never had They would only knock £36 back off. Would never recommend. Reviewed on: 14th June 2023

Horrific Experience!

Stay away from these people! Horrible customer service — all recorded messages delaying contact from around 30 mins then cut you off. Zero customer service and limited english spoken. Worst i have experienced. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2023

Treat customers as idiots

On the 9/5/23 I rang Sheila's wheels to renew my car insurance. I was put through to a call centre in India who was virtually impossible to understand I had to ask so many times to repeat herself. Eventually I thought I had insured my car and that was the end of it for another year. Yesterday I received a letter from them thanking me for the automatic renewal???. I would never had agreed to pay automatic renewal. I am more than capable of deciding whether to accept a quote or not. At the bottom of the thank you note it states that they only do that if I ask for them to do it or I applied for the insurance online. Well I did not do either of those things. Clearly Sheila's wheels are deciding what is best for me nothing to do with the fact they are hoping I will just accept this method of payment. Well I don't have any interest in this automatic renewal also I rang back to speak to the customer service surprise surprise Indian call centre who couldn't understand me and I certainly couldn't understand her I asked her to put me through to someone else that hopefully I could understand. Surprisingly no one is available so I said I want someone to call me ...., STILL WAITING. Be warned you will find that if you have any issues you will get the same treatment. KEEP WAY AWAY, any little changes you make you will get charged for, if you add a new car to the policy they will charge you alot more than others but just for convince you stick the new car on you lose a year of no claims bonus, does not say anywhere on the documents when you will start getting charged for any changes ie week month year etc but when you ask them they is there no specifics on time line they have no answer for that, very unclear with the t&cs in my opinion. Stayed with them for years and there is no such thing as loyal customer with them, as long as you do not question them or say anything and keep giving them yiur hard earned money they are happy, Absolutely terrible experience was with them from 2020 taking over 14 no claims discount when finishing the policy in 2023 i only have 16??? The underwriters want details but no one is prepared to tell you why they need sensitive information that they will have access to for over 20day. I told them over and over again I do not have an issue giving them the information but do need to know why they need it, but not a single person was able to tell me, I asked to be put through to them but they cannot put me through to them. They threatened me in the email that if I do not provide them with the said information they will no longer provide insurance. Thieves

Absolutely disgusting company. Took money out of my pensioner fathers bank account for my dead mothers policy as apparently it was on auto renew. Been trying for a month to get it back and just keep getting told different things. Was told a week ago the refund was issued and would be with us within 3-5 days but it’s not and today when I have chased it up I have been told they are issuing a cheque which can take 4 weeks.
