Called Tandem to ask what had happened to my cashback last month - they said it would appear on my next statement.
No cashback this month - they told me I had the "wrong" Tandem card despite there being no choice when applying! and no indication of what type of card on the card.

The lady I spoke to asked how I would like her to resolve the problem - I said pay me my cashback and change the card type which would have cost them £5 on two months spend - but she couldn't do that.

In my opinion they are a rip off outfit.

In November I deposited £10,000 into a fixed saver for 2 years, after several time of calling I have received nothing to say I have deposited the money. When I have spoken to people they have assured me I will receive documentation soon, we are now in February. I have set up a 2 year fixed saver however they tell me it is down as 1 year but it will be changed and backdated to November. I have asked to speak to Managers, nothing. Hopefully when this is read someone will pull there finger out and do something about it. I am seriously concerned about my money.

The app has improved a lot over recent months. At first I mainly used it in conjunction with my Tandem card - works fine for that (although paperless statements would be great!). But now the other features have got better, so it's useful for getting a sense of how much I have left to spend. Plus it managed to catch a duplicate transaction for me where I'd been charged twice by a newsagent and I managed to get my money back for that, so that was a bonus.

In comparison to other challengers, Tandem have aggregation, two credit cards, mortgages and they're rolling out beta tests for 'autosavings' which sounds fantastic! Really can't wait to see what they've got planned for next year.

Terrible terrible company!
I applied online and received no confirmation email.
3 days passed and no communication at all.
I spoke to them on the app and they took 3 days to reply (They are supposed to be an app only company) What a joke!
They then asked me to send photos of my drivers licence, utility bill. That wasn't good enough - they wanted a photo of my passport.
Another week has past and I have heard nothing still. They ignore my messages constantly.
Eventually I got through to them on the phone. They all sound like a bunch of amateurs who have no idea what they are doing. They advised an offer letter has been sent to me ...10 days ago!!!! I've received nothing!

I thought this card being an app based product would be a good alternative to the Halifax Clarity card. How wrong was I!

They are failing at what is supposed to be the main attraction of the product!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS POOR POOR COMPANY.

I suspect any problems with purchases and the customer would be left high and dry!

Still trying to get rid of this company and it already cost me months in distress. Nothing gets done. Constant abuse and stress. Hell on earth. Never touch this toxic organisation. Many regrets guaranteed.

Been with Tandem Credit Card 1 month. To say I'm vexed at their App would be a lie, I am thoroughly fed up with it. 3 times they have frozen my account and then send me an email to apply for an Activation Code. When I get through to them by phone a jovial voice tells me not to worry their engineers are on to it. That's all well and good however, how can i see my debt in order to pay it down? A cynical person might conclude they do not want me to pay down the debt so that they can charge me more interest! Either way I am fed up with this bunch . For a bank they are poor, really bad. My advice is leave them alone for a year or two, I certainly would not invest in this bunch of starters.

I was disappointed after waiting so long for Tandem that the app they've launched is merely an account aggregator and the current account is some way off/never happening. Annoyingly, the app doesn't even support any of the accounts I have, so it's a bit of a fail for me. Still exciting though, to hear what they might do with credit cards and in the future, but i'd leave it for now.
