46% Car Insurance Increase after a NON FAULT ACCIDENT

My premium has risen by 46% because I have had a Non Fault Accident. I queried why my premium had risen and was told that it always rises on having an accident and she also told me I only had a 2 star policy. Don't know what this means as I have a fully comp car policy with maximum No Claims Discount. Last time I insure with them!!
