I cannot believe the negative comments on here! I had received a renewal for home insurance from Aviva and was puzzled as I wasn't aware I had a policy with them. However I had had a bad accident on 17th Dec and my brain was fuzzy with morphine so I decided to look into it. I could find no paperwork etc for Aviva and appeared to have taken out a policy with another company in May.
I phoned to explain this and spoke to an incredibly understanding and sympathetic young lady called Courtney. After listening to my story she offered to see if her manager could give me a refund from May 2018. I was delighted to hear that s/he had agreed and a cheque would be sent!
That in itself made me think I would go to Aviva for a quote in May, but there was even more to come. Two days later I received a most beautiful bouquet by hand delivery! What a lovely surprise! And an even greater surprise was that it was sent by Aviva with lots of good wishes. I think they have a customer for life!
