No way to pay in cheques

Everything on the app and with the debit card is great. The customer service is fast to respond too. The reason for my low star rating is there is no way to pay cheques into the account. This means I will be shortly switching my banking back to my original 'mainstream bank' account. The Tide fees are 20p per transfer in or out of this account which makes it cheaper for me than my original account which is £5.50 per month, but I still need the other account for the cheques. So now I'm paying £5.50 per month AND 20p per transaction which is pointless. Tide suggested I pay the cheques into my personal account but I can't as they are made out to my business name. I know cheque use is declining but about 10% of my wholesale payments come in cheque form still. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019
