Top paying interest rate

Last week opened a Bank of Scotland Vantage Account to benefit from the high credit interest rate of 3% on balances over £3000 up to £5000. Did this online and was really easy to do,accepted almost immediately and given full bank account numbers, managed to deposit £5000 and set up appropriate standing order for transfer in of £1000 a month. Only problem encountered was that I could find nowhere on their website to register for tax free-had to do this via phone call! Reviewed on: 2nd November 2015

Took out cover for my daughters first car, having passed her driving test at the first time of asking. For the same cover could have easily paid up to an eye watering £5000 but thanks to Hastings I managed to get excellent car insurance for a more manageable £930. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

Brilliant

Took me years to move to Santander 123 Current Account simply because I did not feel it was ethical to charge for a current account. How wrong was I not to move my current account earlier. Been with Santander 123 Current Account now for 8 months-simply fantastic to be able to earn money simply by paying your bills;which more than offset the £2 monthly fee. You also get a great rate of interest on up to £20000 at 3%. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

poor service from this bank

opened a TSB Classic Plus Account to benefit from the great rate of interest(5% gross) offered on £2000 balance, however this was anything but straight forward! anybody working in a 09.00-17.00 hrs job Mon-Fri would find it almost impossible to produce evidence of identity with our local branch closing at 16.00 hrs Mon-Fri and being closed all day Sat/Sun as well!!!
