I have a pair of Lloyds Avios cards - Amex and Mastercard - and manage to earn a lot of Avios with them, using them to pay for car hire and hotel stays.

My husband and I pay £17 a month for Lloyds Platinum on our joint account, which I think is great value with the included mobile phone and travel insurance. I've had to claim several times with great customer service.
