I have had a motor policy with LV for more years than I care to remember. I had to claim on one occasion when I was out of the country and the sea broke coastal defenses during a storm and flooded both my garage and my wife's car. There was no quibble with the settlement which was based upon the car's replacement value at the time. I have also had two windscreens replaced, again with no quibbles. LV do try to get me to auto renew my policy which I refuse to do as I am always offered a better quote when I telephone.
