I've been with admiral for a few years now, and they've never really been a problem. When my car was involved in an accident on New Years Eve last year, they were pretty helpful in assisting me with the claim, however it took a long time and there was a lot of miscommunication on their end about whether or not I had been given/was allowed a hire car from Auxillus. It was eventually all sorted, and the claim part went through fairly quickly, however it was a little bit of a kerfuffle!
