Easy process although with one reservation

I opened a second ISA account. The process was straightforward until it came to adding funds. When I entered my bank sort code the system brought up the wrong branch address. I knew this would not be a problem as my wife had the same issue and contacted our local Newbury office about it and was re-assured, so I knew it was not a problem. But it did make us stop and wonder about the whole system, but everything worked as expected anyway. Reviewed on: 9th January 2021

Good service in the end

Went in to open two ISAs, but were originally told we would have to make an appointment another day due to staff shortage. We had already completed the forms which we got online,and after muttering our disappointment were dealt with by the cashier. We had to leave the paperwork and our cheques, but after a couple of days our accounts were opened and our passbooks were posted to us, so all was well in the end. Reviewed on: 7th September 2019
