Incompetent employees within the company.

My policy was cancelled without any further notice whatsoever, even though my payments were up to date. I receive an email on the day that my insurance was cancelled. Which was pathetic and unprofessional way to handle such situations . Anyways, I rang them straightaway to find out the reason for cancelling my policy and after a thorough investigation, it confirmed that error was made by one of their employees who did not update their system. Which I was advised to wait between 24 and 48 hours for the policy to be reinstated. I waited for 72 hours and no phone call was made therefore I decided to ring them again and ask them to explain why the delay in reinstating the policy and provide a valid reason for doing so. However, the unbelievable happened, this particular customer service team member disconnected the phone call; as she didn’t have any explanation to my questions; on why is it taking long to reinstate my policy and why was it cancelled in the first place without a thorough investigation? Adding to this, I even asked to speak to a manager but she went ahead and disconnected the call. Not only am I frustrated but also very angry to the fact that I had to face a lot of inconveniences for the past few days in arranging taxis for my children school runs, especially when they attend different schools. I was also forced to catch a train to Leicester with husband and children, to visit my elderly mother in law who was hospitalised, including taxi rides to hospital from train station; all this occurred due to someone else’s mistake and yet do not want to own up to it which is the saddest part of it all! Very unprofessional, no ethics and decency at all! There was no apologies at all, yet the employee had the decency to disconnect the phone call because she didn’t have answers to my questions. Furthermore, according to another customer service team member the “system defaults itself if there was an error”. What a joke! Nevertheless, my argument is; the system will not default itself unless they were not updated in the first place! It’s a simple logic! Therefore, to my conclusion, so far this is the worst company to have insurance with, employees lack empathy and are not skilled enough, including the management teams. The whole company is sham! I wouldn’t even give one star but was required to enable carry on with my review. Definitely not worth it! Would definitely not recommend at all! To all those whom have experienced this let’s all get together and name and shame this so called company. Reviewed on: 7th October 2019
