I LOVE using my Starling card abroad! I use my personal account for all travelling. Last year I went to Spain and could pay in euros with no transaction fees, and the % rate was actually better than what I got when exchanging money at a bureau! My card worked in all the ATM’s and instantly reflected in my account in GBP.

I’ve been using Starling Business since launch in 2018, and it’s been faultless! My then startup photography company could not afford to pay the ridiculous fees high street banks charge, nor the foreign transaction fees for ordering albums from Europe/USA. Starling changed all this for me, allowing free and easy access to a more global supply chain - weddings abroad were now so much cheaper to do! I went to Japan earlier in the year and was able to use the cash machines and card machines like a local, totally fee free. The integration with Xero is great, and the customer service team reply within seconds. Best bank I’ve ever been with!
