I applied through a broker and was advised the checks are more thorough and would take longer than a straight forward high street application. My credit history was very poor with recent CCJs so I wasn’t expecting a great result. However, I got an offer in 3 weeks and spoke to precise directly a couple of times during the process and they were very pleasant and helpful. Can’t fault them! Would definitely recommend for anyone with a more difficult to place application.
