Easy to use lender with incredible flexibility

5
I've borrowed through Zopa for years now to finance things like redecorating our new flat and consolidating little bits of credit card debt. Firstly, their rates are very competitive especially if you have good credit. Secondly, their platform is really easy to use and gives me lots of control over my loan that I've not got elsewhere. And thirdly, the ability to repay extra when you can, and see your monthly payments go down, makes paying off debt almost into a kind of game. Zopa helps me to be in control of my finances and it makes paying off a loan feel like an easier task. Reviewed on: 29th January 2019

Great rates, easy to manage with app

Nationwide has consistently offered me some of the best rates, and made my life a lot easier in loads of small ways by making my mortgage easy to manage in the app and online. When my initial 2-year fixed rate expired, switching to a new product took me about 10 minutes and got me a way better rate. Couldn't be happier. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Card is convenient but expensive

Having an Argos card is great for one thing: buying moderately expensive but common items that aren't any cheaper elsewhere, and paying them off before the interest free period expires. However if you don't do this, they nail you with interest. I've also found it means I sometimes I pay more for things that I could get cheaper elsewhere. Which I guess makes it a good business tactic on Argos' part. Reviewed on: 7th June 2017

Easiest SIPP I've ever seen

It was super easy to transfer my old pensions into Nutmeg. I had a couple lying around from previous employments and I had no idea how to get them all together. I'd been putting it off for years because I thought it would be really difficult and I'd need lots of documents I couldn't find, but Nutmeg just took care of it in about a week without me really having to do anything.
