Interest rate changes are usually passed on promptly however, in line with government advice, the Society moved the majority of staff to working from home within a few days of this announcement, which had a direct impact. The Society will be reducing interest rates for both borrowers and savers in May, in line with the timescales achieved by the rest of the industry. Our staff continue to ensure all mortgage customer requests are dealt with efficiently and that savers can easily access their funds when needed. Response date: 1st May 2020

A truly customer driven role model

I am able to speak with someone who is local to the Buckinghamshire which provides authenticity in communication. I feel that my savings are best places with you over and above any other savings institution because you are steadfast in your goal of a fair financial return to your investors. You are local and provide a courteous service by your staff.Improvement to your on line service for monitoring investments

I do find there is a lot of letters and investment details is received and would find access to on line viewing of information and status of accounts could be improved and simplified whilst not compromising security. As a small local building society, the Board of Directors and staff has continued to maintain the society as an independent society providing for the needs of its members. I would like to be recorded in the minutes of the AGM that we are very grateful for the hard work and endeavour of all of the staff and Directors. At next year's AGM I will be able (subject to the coronavirus having passed) to stand up in person and speak on behalf of the members and repeat my comments.
