Had been through the price comparison sites but also decided to try aviva direct as they dont appear on them. Found them to be cheaper by over £50, so went with them, It was a straighfoward and easy process to buy online

Took advantage of their switching bonus of £120. It is very slow and a long winded process with forms being sent by post, then phone calls then more forms. once you get through that the banking is ok but nothing special

easy enough to buy although you have to hold them for a full month before they go in the draw. Its a bit of fun rather than a proper investment but the money is safe and theres always a chance of a big win

OLd fashioned (and I mean that in a good way) in that they still issue pass books. Rate on the savings account good and staff very helpful
