If you are a non-white or have an ethnic name avoid Autonet. Twenty years of safe driving never had any claim or problem with any car insurance, Autonet investigated me like a criminal. It was a big mistake to go with them. They wanted scan copy of everything, DVLA record even my MOT certificates etc, you name it they asked for it. I could not cancel as it was passed the 14 days cancellation period. After renewal, I discovered they reduced my NCB by 7 years, after extensive enquiries they admit making a mistake with no apologies. Imagine reducing your NCB by seven years for no reason and no apology.
