I took out an insurance policy with Tesco but then realised I could go on a cheaper tier with them. So I cancelled my first policy to take out a new one. I didn't receive a refund for the first one and have been told twice that the money should be in my account any day now. Still waiting...
To top it off I spoke to the team via Facebook as I was told by the telephone team that there is no email support (in 2017...) who then asked me to confirm confidential details via FACEBOOK and then told me I would need to telephone the customer service team. When I telephoned the extremely incompetent customer service team they told me that there is no Tesco Bank facebook page, even though I spoke to the team via their official Facebook page.
I am just glad that all I'm trying to do it get a refund and not make a claim. Good luck to anyone who presents the customer service team with a real issue!
