At the age of 67 no other mortgage provider would lend me the money to complete a timber build house in the West Highlands. Ecology had no hesitation in doing so. I found the staff very friendly and approachable and at all times I felt I was being treated with kindness and understanding when other lenders (particularly RBS with whom I had banked for 50 years) were dismissive.
