My brother collapsed at hospital in a diabetic coma and was in and out of consciousness. I rushed to the hospital before he was transferred to another hospital...I rang, as my brother's insurers, these clowns to get me put on the insurance for 1 hour so I could drive his Discovery home...they wouldn't unless we started a brand new policy, for 1 hours insurance! I haven't had a bump in 20 +years, no DD, no claims for 20+years...I have 1 speeding for doing 34 in a 30 (shoot me) I had 3rd party for any car on my own policy but then when accidents happen when you haven't insurance! Pillocks. We have now moved the policy to another company even though it cost us more.
