Got a great fixed rate mortgage 5 months before it was due for renewal last year, saving me £100s as the rates kept going up but the mortgage was guaranteed till renewal. All renewed online, did not have to do any work!

Churchill are the first company in the last 20 years where I have renewed my car insurance, as their renewal premium had not gone up from last year. It is nice that they try to keep existing customers by not putting up the premiums by unreasonable amounts.

I was a bit dubious initially as this is not a normal ISA or investment plan. However, after 6 months to see an investment of over 6% and also receive dividends on shares, I would thoroughly recommend.

Just had my first annual regular saver with 5% interest. I put in the maximum £500 per month and had £150 interest. The best bit is that once this account matured, I could apply for another regular saver account straight away!

I recently took out a policy with 1st Central, as they were the cheapest around with the best cover. I was surprised that they sent me details of a website where you can also get cashback and discounts on vouchers etc, free for thos who have insurance with them. Also, no hassle with the policy which I took out and can amend online.

The process for claiming was quite easy, although I was originally told I needed to obtain a letter from my GP for referral. However, I never sent this through as the GP did not provide it as promised, but despite this the claim was paid in full directly to the physiotherapist. No other problems with the claim, great service.

I love using my santander account, as you get cashback on normal day to day bills. Also, the fact that the interest rate is better than most savings or ISA accounts, especially if you save more. You never have to move your money to get the best rate around. Okay, there is a £5 fee but this is outweighed by the cashback you get. Just got £3 back for shopping with Morrisons last week!
