Great policy, price and customer service

In October last year, I was offered and accepted a Platinum policy that included monthly payments at a competitive premium at very little extra cost than I had formerly paid for a one-off annual payment. Generally, it can cost a good bit extra to make monthly payments, so I was pleased to be able to spread the payments over 12 months at very little extra cost. The policy was for three years at a fixed price of £30 per month with the option to cancel at any time. This year, I was quoted an annual premium of £287 by another insurer. when I approached One Call about this they were able to reduce my payments to just over £26 per month, fixed for three years with cancellation again permitted at any time at no additional charge. To me, this represents a fair price and very fair terms. I have had my car insurance with One Call for two or three years now. Whilst, in the past, I have found it necessary to switch to another company each year to keep my premium at a competitive price, One Call has shown its willingness to keep my premium as low as its competitors whilst maintaining the high level of cover it offers, including, for example, a hire car at a small extra cost for up to 28 days in the event of an accident where my car is repairable. Whilst no one wants to be in that situation, it is very reassuring to know I will have a hire car at no extra charge for up to a month while my car is being repaired. And last but not least, every one of the several One Call representatives to whom I have spoken has been very polite and gone out of their way to secure the best T&C's at the lowest price, which is what every customer wants. If One Call can continue to achieve such good results I shall be happy to continue my car insurance with them in future years. Reviewed on: 4th October 2021
