I am a member of Golfcare and had reason to make a claim. Yes there was a few actions I had to take before my claim was agreed.

While playing a round of golf I happened to mention golf insurance and the fact I was thinking of taking out golf insurance. Recommendations for this company came very highly so I took out a policy. I found it extremely easy to obtain cover via their website.
