After an auto renewal, one month in we had to cancel the insurance because we got a new car and insuring the new car with autonet was much more expensive than other insurers. Autonet demanded that we pay £82.79 to cancel the contract. I don't care that it may be in the small print but this is unacceptable and I am a very unhappy customer.
I made a mistake, it was actually £128 they charged us, this is over 50% of the actual premium!! I phoned up and after demanding to speak to a manager because the agent was talking over me, they cut me off. I will be taking this further.
