I've always been sceptical having to pay to have a bank or building society account, however when I did the maths on Nationwide's FlexPlus account it was a no-brainer. On top of a flexible account that gives you interest, along with great customer service, the benefits also include Worldwide Family Travel Insurance, Worldwide Mobile Phone Insurance and UK & European Breakdown Recovery Assistance. As both my husband and I both had breakdown insurance the savings we made on this alone covered the cost of the product for the year! And worldwide travel insurance.... well... that was the icing on the cake a highly recommended product.. that comes with great customer service!!
