Terrible customer service!

We have been customers of Cooperative bank for many years. Unfortunately the customer service has deteriorated over the years. I have recently raised a complaint about a bank transfer which was not made. I have spent nearly 3 hours on the phone, been given various poor excuses, assurances which were not met and still the payment has not been made. It feels as if they no longer value customers and I would not recommend this bank to anyone. Reviewed on: 7th March 2024

Failure to deal with complaints

I made a complaint about an international transfer which they messed up (and charged me for). According to their Complaints Policy they respond within 15 working days. It is now 20 working days since I lodged the complaint and they have told me that they have no idea when they will deal with it due to a backlog of complaints. Reviewed on: 26th January 2023
