Nationwide do not appear to have any real loyalty after being a member for 35 years. Although not having failed to pay any of my bills EVER, I was declined for a mortgage

Have had to make a claim a few times. Very good service. 4 stars instead of 5 as they bumped up the cost of the policy by £300. It was brought down by £270 after one phone call which was quite disappointing as a loyal customer
