Received a pre-selected loan offer for a fixed APR as low as 4.99% a couple of days ago. However, just after submitting my personal info online to check the actual rate available to me, a denial message was shown on my computer. Why the Barclays wasted everyone's time by sending out those pre-selected offers at the first place??
