PayPal is perfect for shopping internationally or paying/getting paid people around the world. But It's not ideal if those are recurring interaction as it charges you with every transfer and takes time to deposit/take out the money. Some times those charges are unavoidable as e-commerce websites force you into a pay pal transfer and they don't usually provide alternatives. The amount charged for the service can be seen as unfair as well.
