I thought that I take advantage of the reasonable 2 year fixed term rates on offer. I installed the app, registered and thought I was ready to go.
But no, my name, age and address were rejected by the app. I contacted customer service through the apps chat facility and after a long session the rep agreed that my address did exist and suggested that I entered my details manually (I had already tried this). I have lived at my address for over 25 years and have an unblemished credit record.
I have probably been saved a lot of hassle and future heartache by not managing to make a deposit. For example, the app crashed when I tried to edit my profile (even though I did not make any changes).
Given other comments about the lack of supporting evidence of a deposit and thus total reliance on the app I would suggest that this is a very dubious bank to give your money to.
