Rip off company!
Took a breakdown, parts and labour insurance for a 7 year old car and they declined to cover a broken clutch and forced me to use one of their authorised dealers which charged£1700 pounds even before they would diagnose which parts were broken! Both RAC and their dealer coerced me to pay upfront if I wanted the insurer to have a look. RAC parts and labour Customer services is terrible and they will hide behind 'Wear and Tear' clause for anything you try to claim... basically the insurance does not work for old cars... and it is pointless for new cars!
