I have been with HSBC for 41 years, very scary but I have never had a problem with their service, they have been helpful when I needed them to be. When I had a £500 cash point failure at Christmas they were helpful and kept me informed on the progress. The staff are helpful and friendly when I visit. You can now do so much on line and even pay in cheques up to £500. I have looked at changing but see no benefit in doing so.
