At first, Centtrip seemed pretty attractive, with their pretty black card and a low annual fee of £10. But upon buying the card and receiving, I noticed that there were a few rather annoying things that came to light. First off, Centtrip charge a small commission for every exchange you make, 0-5-1%, and this would be okay, if they didn't require a minimum of £ 250 per deposit. I was in Paris for 2 days and everything was paid for. I did not need that much money but was unable to obtain euros due to the minimum amount you can exchange at once. This heavily inconvenienced me, leaving me with no cash for the entirety of my stay. The mobile app is also pretty fidgety, and the functions are not exactly the easiest to learn. All in all, I would not really recommend Centtrip to anyone. Reviewed on: 9th December 2016
