Review of the Admiral, Car insurance:

They don't listen and will take you for a ride

Been with them for over 5 yrs and was… Been with them for over 5 yrs and was looking to move so I called and they said they would reduce my premium. I accepted. I then had a car wash a few weeks earlier which pushed in a side panel. Wasn't that bad and wasn't going to do anything about it but let Admiral know about it. As the new premium hadn't started they increased my premium by about 40% saying they were within their right to do so and wouldn't listen to anything such as I'd been a good customer for 5 yrs and hadn't made a claim and wasn't going to do anything about the side panel. They told me to call back in 6 months when it would come off my premium. I did and asked for the refund - they said they weren't going to give it back as it was within their right and had no time or space for me and wouldn't listen to any kind of reasonable argument. I have two polices with them not only my own but my wife as well and will be leaving at the end of the polices. Don't touch with a barge pole. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2019
