Good way to boost Nectar points, even with the annual fee. With more and more companies now accepting AMEX, points can now be gained in many places.

A good way to boost your nectar points balance, although its not as good now that there is an annual fee. Also not everywhere takes American Express.

In my experience I have found Admiral to consistently offer the cheapest premium out of the main large insurance companies. Only once in the previous 15 years during renewal time, did i find cheaper insurance elsewhere, which Admiral ended up price matching for me.

Good way to accumulate Nectar points, however less attractive now there is an annual fee. More places seem to be accepting AMEX as well.
