Wow they are certainly not on the customers side

Dream car ordered with PCP agreement, brand new, straight out of the factory the door shuts and bonnet are out of alignment, the car rear quarters and boot have had paint rectification with overspray, rough masking edges. The dealer (Jardine Motors / Lancaster of Cambridge) took the car back to rectify paint issues but made matters worse by buffing through paint in three places and staining an alloy meaning it needs more respraying which was the last straw on a brand new car. An experienced independent engineer also identified paint thicknesses ranging from 120-290 microns and a few other issues, so the car was rejected within the statutory 30 days. Alphera agreed rejection on 8/6/20 and then on 15/6/20 changed their mind because Lancaster suddenly developed amnesia and "had never carried out corrective works" on the car, nor were they aware of any other issues being reported, even though the dealer principal was there when I collected the car from being in their bodyshop as he has apparently taken video of me without my knowledge or permission. Dont worry though we have the emails, whatsapp messages and mobile phone records etc to prove they knew and had accepted responsibility which are with counsel as we speak. Reviewed on: 25th June 2020
