Really good value account and one of the best ways to invest this year. Telephone banking staff know the ins and outs and explain clearly how much can pay in and estimate payout at the end.

Quick application process if not long medical history

Online application was surprisingly quick and easy. The firm had all relevant questions and loaded quickly. Only delay caused by long medical history. Good ongoing contact via email and letter while awaiting approval.

HSBC are generally as good as John Lewis in terms of customer service. The Pay Monthly deal gives access to preferential rates and also more recently enabled me to get a high interest return on a monthly saver where the bank put in £10 every month that I put in £25 which is excellent value.
