Local & connected

I love the concept of a credit union in general and enjoy being a part of Manchester Credit Union specifically as it makes me feel like I am supporting the people of my city. I would say that the app could do with some attention as its not as simple and intuitive as other money apps but it does the job. The team are professional, friendly and responsive, also they feel local and more approachable than a big bank. Reviewed on: 21st April 2026

I highly recommend LMCU

Being a LMCU makes me feel connected to my community. Its a different angle to money and finances where I am not made to feel less than for being working class. LMCU has taught me alot about money, and when I leave my savings in my account I tend to accrue more than I do in my other high street account. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2022
