We adopted a Westie from the Dogs Trust and took out insurance with Perfect Pets paying a year up front. 3 months after he sustained an injury and was limping, he was diagnosed with a crucial ligament and needed surgery costing £4,000. Obviously we went ahead expecting this company to pay up but they refused saying it was a previous injury. Even though the Vet who examined him at the Dog's Trust wrote a letter confirming there was no injury before we adopted him, this company refused to pay! Avoid this company they will do anything not to pay out, disgusting!!
