Its a good idea to have a savings account, but with the interest rates offered by Natwest, you have to wonder if it is worth the effort. One quick search can find savings accounts as good as this but with 10x the interest rate. That said, I didn't ever face any particular issues with Natwest

There are no strong positives or negatives. I have never had any major issues with Natwest, nor are they overly helpful with pointing out products where I might save money

I started with Zopa about a year ago, choosing them for their generous interest rates. Since then these have almost doubled. As a student, this has been a great way to get a little more spending money in a cost of living crisis
