The most recent issue has been that they stated I cancelled my direct debit with them, when I definitely did not, and then proceeded to try to charge me a late fee. I checked with my bank and they NEVER received any such request. When I phoned insure2drive up about this they were rude and were trying to make it out to be my fault when they didn't even send the request to the bank. I'm pretty sure insure2drive have more reason to lie than NatWest seeing as they get an extra payment out of it. DO NOT insure with this company, you will regret it later as I have done. Try and order a Green Card to go to France in the first week of April and they will say ok, then ring you back 24 hours later and demand £25 for the pleasure. So if you go on a day trip and then a couple of weekends or a summer holiday, your policy is now £100 more than they quoted. They CLAIM to provide no cost cover in Europe but that us clearly a carefully worded porky pie since it is going to cost you £25 extra EVERYTIME post Brexit unless a deal is signed which looks unlikely. Later when I recently changed my European licence to a British one they put up my premium again saying i am classified as a new driver which was a lie and "if i don't pay over the phone NOW they'll cancel my current ncb" which was another lie as they had no right to do so. They later said "Oh we meant this year NCB not last year one" which was another lie. When i emailed them and said I was not happy with this they did not even respond for weeks and then just refused to return the excessive payment and did not even explain what it was for.
