User friendly, contact with humans.

It is so refreshing and a huge relief to have accessible human communication. For a telephone call or other contact to be responded to promptly by an efficient, friendly person is a pleasant experience, in contrast to the stressful situations we are often subjected to. easy to use instant access and currently good interest rate

The staff are really helpful and the online account is easy to use. You just need to check the interest rate (currently a whopping 5.1% and so ahead of the rest) and remember that you can only withdraw up to £25,000 a day (if you have more to save) - but for an instant access account it's unusual. Very satisfied new customer

I have invested with many building societies over the years, and have been very impressed with the way The Family Building Society has dealt with my initial application. I particularly like the posted savings certificate and letter, together with Dedicated Contact Details etc. I know we should be heading for a paperless world, but I do like to keep some hard copies on file. New customer - Excellent experience

Tuesday 11.07.23 I have opend an account on line because of the attractive interest rate and easy on line access to funds. The experience has been excellent. I have contacted FBS by logging into account, and on Telephone. No problem at all. There has also been confirmation by email text and post. Just what I wanted to feel save with on line banking. Problems with their computer systems

I had to make a number of online applications and many telephone calls to eventually get the application up and running. This was due to the society's computer systems. I spoke to a couple of ladies but it was Louise who I had quite a few conversations with. She was very helpful, humorous and pleasant and she eventually was the person who sorted it out, so well done Louise. Refreshing and professional

Approachable by phone and helpful

As more high-street banks close, being able to talk to a real person not a bot, and without waiting forever is increasingly important. Vital when it involves money. Some good some not so good

After initial issues with the first contact Aaron: delay in sending me forms and then establishing he had delayed / not passed the completed forms to a relevant section, I have been dealing with Mandy, who does seem to be far more efficient and is helping progress my application.
